Christopher Alan Howze, affectionately known as Chris, was a remarkable young man whose creativity, resilience, and kindness left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone who knew him. Born on August 9, 2002, in Reston, VA, Chris grew up with a passion for music and a talent for artistic expression. As a rapper, performer, and community activist, he used his craft to connect deeply with others, sharing his story and touching hearts through his music.

Chris completed his education at River Hill High School in June 2020, where he was known not only for his talents but also for his warm spirit and dedication. He went on to attend Morehouse College, where he received a degree in Marketing and Business Administration, demonstrating his drive to make an impact, even while courageously facing a 3.5-year battle with Glioblastoma. Despite the challenges, Chris continued to work on his music, performing and creating with a strength and dedication that inspired all around him.

Chris’s life was one of love, courage, and unwavering determination. He had a contagious smile and a heart that radiated kindness. He approached life with a unique grace and resilience that uplifted his family, friends, and all who crossed his path. His music was not just a passion; it was his way of communicating his truth, inspiring others to express themselves authentically and live fully.

Although Chris’s journey was brief, the impact he made is immeasurable. His legacy lives on through the 4CAH Foundation, which was created to honor his memory by supporting aspiring artists and young people with dreams as bright and determined as his own.
